Tagaytay

It always feels great hanging out with friends. Kahit walang agenda, walang plans, walang naka-set na gagawin, sige lang, masaya pa rin. That’s how I am with my friends from DMI yesterday. We went to Tagaytay, our first stop, mushroom burger for merienda. Donna ordered a pure mushroom sandwich and it taste ok, nothing spectacular, just fine. Then we opted to go to Sonya’s garden but on our way we saw Splendido view deck and decided to stop there and take some shots. After enjoying posing, smiling, making kulitans, and just when the rain was about to pour we went back to the van and decided not to go to Sonya’s garden anymore. I haven’t been there, but it’s fine, I can always have another chance. Next stop, we thought of going to the market for some street food but then it’s kinda raining so we just let Ariel, our ever poging driver, decide for us. We went to this place in Tagaytay where all the restaurants are located, a long stretch of restos. Since I and Merc are craving for pizza and Emma just wanted to have stake we then decided to go to Carlo’s pizza, pasta and more. In Carlos, some wanted to stay outside and enjoy the cold winds of Tagaytay, others wanted to stay inside coz it’s so cold, I just sat in the corner, wait till they really decide where to stay and then move to ordering our food. Well, good thing people just go with the flow, the wanted to be outside wins. So now it’s ordering time, we are 12, wait let me count, 1. Ariel, 2. Janeth, 3. Julieth, 4. Yuki, 5. Donna, 6. Emma, 7. RJ, 8. Val, 9. Merc, 10. Poly, 11. Mavic, 12. Bernard and 13. Ako, so we’re 13 not 12. Plus Jewel and Gio but still on their way up to Tagaytay from Manila. By the time we are ready to settle outside, it rained so we end up eating inside, I guess it’s God’s way of pleasing everyone hehe. As Pastor Paul puts it, DMI people are pictorial people…we spend the waiting hours posing, smiling for the camera, never minding the crew, the other clients…hehe we kinda joke that we’re just testing the new camera…hahaha, really pictorial pipz. I had a great time, taking photos of RJ (he’s not use to posing solo), Poly (very willing to pose and is even playing with the camera and the photographer) and Donna (very conscious with how her photo will appear, she tells me if I have to delete or not) and of course the lovey dovey Mavic and Bernard (all pose, all smile and all project for the cam). The celebrants were seated next to each other (Emma, Merc and me) and the whole Carlos where filled with Happy birthday song. The staff brought gelatin instead of cake with brown-out candles instead of birthday candles. We had wine after the meal and finished up the dinner with another round of picture picture. Then we walk to burn the pizza and pasta before we start for another intake in Starbucks. We leave Tagaytay at around 10PM with singing of old Christian songs, parang mga lasing na kumakanta…It was a nice trip, nice way of birthday celebration. Thanks to Janeth who is the directress of this trip. Hoping for more….
