Foolish beat

Each heart knows its own bitterness, and no one else can share its joy. - Proverbs 14:10

He mustered the courage to tell her he wanted her to be his girl. She didn’t feel the same! So she refused. He moved on….they became friends. Then one day she felt different towards him. She then made her feelings out in the open. But things were different now. He doesn’t feel the same for her. Now he’s the one who refused. Too late!!!!

They were good friends. Both unattached. Ready for relationship. Everyone around them thinks they are a perfect match. But with them, no one wants to make a move, even if they both feel something special for each other. Going on with the usual, just friends. Not risking….could be not enough? Or just holding on to what’s precious? The friendship!

Boy have a long distance relationship met a girl who make him happy. They became friends…almost always together. The girl fell for the boy, the boy could be also but he’s already committed. He doesn’t want to hurt the girl but he cannot continue being friends with her. They part ways….girl broken…not because she was rejected but because she let herself fall even though she knew they can’t.

Bestfriends….that’s what they are. She knows everything about him. He shared everything, his frustrations, his happy moments, his dreams even his lovelife…but of course that’s with other girl. She just listen to all these. She’s always available for him whenever, wherever, whatever. She’s already contented hearing him out. She’s the closest girl to him but not enough closeness to capture his heart and be his girl.

I’ll say goodbye for the two of us…that’s the perfect song for you. You love him too much that you can’t say goodbye to him even if you really have to. That’s what’s best for the both of you. Love cannot make you stay….but that’s the best, so you’ll still go.

You don’t have a connection, nothing in common, not even a bit of chemistry. But suddenly, it’s magic! You saw him in a different light…him too, look at you differently. Something’s changed! Everything fell into places, now you discovered, he is after all the man of your dreams.

Foolish, isn’t it?

I so love this post Ate Mers (title, content, and the three-word ending). It can capture the hearts of the readers.

The complexity and irony of the situations reminded me that love, in its profundity and mystery, is still one of the best feelings/gifts we can ever have. It may be painful at times but as they say, true love is never easy. In the end, the misery will never equate the memories and lessons learned.
